TESTIMONIALS
Sharon, this is a note to say thank you for helping me get started on my new
fitness routine. Your introductory sessions have given me an excellent
foundation to build a fitter lifestyle. As a man in my late forties, with a
reasonably sedate lifestyle, I am keenly aware of the potential health hazards
that lie ahead so I am taking this very seriously. The program you developed
for me is challenging but manageable and I can feel the results after four
months in training.
Your assistance has brought results. The balance of resistance training, cardio,
and stretching that you prescribed for me has had an effect I would describe as
“no pain no gain”.
I very much appreciate the advice you have given me on matters related to
training, such as hydration intake, rest, diet, and having an overall balanced
lifestyle. I have also very much benefited from your efforts to do follow-up.
Above all, your program has given me a real sense of "new lease on life" since I
now feel empowered and capable of effecting a successful rehabilitation, which I
have not experienced before in the 15 years of my hectic corporate lifestyle.
As a result, I am very committed to the program you set out for me, and
anticipate having future sessions with you to refine my program.
I would absolutely recommend your services to any other athletes or individuals
seeking a program tailored to their particular requirement.

Sharon has taken me
on a very measured journey, from a sedentary lifestyle (read: lazy!) to a very
pleasing level of fitness.
Her manner is both
encouraging and supportive, while also being challenging.
Her program provides
variety, while also focusing on a consistent group of core exercises, and she
manages to cater for a range of fitness levels within the group of attendees.
Thank you Sharon!
You have successfully kick-started me into a healthier and more mobile
lifestyle, in a very entertaining and supportive way. I now feel I have the
direction and skills to maintain this fitness level (and improve!) outside of
the Bootcamp situation. Susan (Multiple Sclerosis sufferer)”

When I first decided
to do this, I was apprehensive, I had no confidence and I felt like I was going
to fail before I even started - but from day one I found it a huge confidence
builder and a great way for me to achieve my goals. This was in part the
program structure itself, but also the comradery that is built through a small
group of like minded people wanting to achieve similar goals - Sharon's style
enhanced this comradery and allowed banter and humour to be a huge part of this
camp - which was great.
4 weeks later I am
still losing cm's and feeling better about myself as I have now broken habits
that just seemed too hard to break when trying to do them by yourself. Thanks
Sharon

My fitness levels
have increased dramatically. I originally began the camp for employment
purposes. I soon found I was using it to change the way I was living on the
nutiritional side of things. I am competitive by nature and found that the more
camps I did (3 in a row) the more enthused I became about the extended output I
could achieve. I found Sharon to be knowledgable, enthusiastic and able to
cater to all levels of fitness. It was obvious that she put a lot of thought
into varying her workouts given the different exercises she put us through. I
found the whole experience has made me a healthier person and I will be back
doing more in the summer. I would have no hesitation in recomending Sharon to
anyone who wishes to change their level of fitness.

Since attending
Jigsaw Fitness boot camp I can’t believe how committed I am to a healthy diet
and exercise regime. The motivation gained daily from being part of the group
was fantastic and even the 5am wakeups were not a deterrent. Thanks Sharon for a
great experience and one that I definitely intend to duplicate in the future.

From my first phone call to Sharon I was impressed, and knew
I was in good hands.
I have been working out at Gyms for years, but was looking
for a different form of exercise that would get results and also be
enjoyable and keep me motivated to continue.
Sharon tailored a programme to suit my needs perfectly. Her
nursing background gives her an edge over other trainers, and she keeps up
to date with what’s new in health and fitness, and passes that information
on to me. She even shares the occasional healthy recipe! Sharon provides a
personalised service, she is truly interested in each individual and is
dedicated to helping all her clients achieve their goals.
I attend training sessions at Sharon’s home studio, which is
really well set up with all the cardio, weights, resistance and
strengthening equipment you could ask for. We also head outside sometimes
for a change of scenery! It’s so convenient, there is no waiting around to
use machines like at the gym, and the one on one time means every minute is
well used. Sharon likes to vary the routine each week, so I never get bored,
and can never be too sure what is coming up next! The sessions Sharon puts
me through are hard work, but also lots of fun. Her encouragement as well as
seeing results keeps me striving for more. Every week I leave with a spring
in my step and a smile on my face.
Since training with Jigsaw Fitness I have achieved my goals
and much more. I am now fitter, stronger, healthier and happier. And what I
have learnt from training with Sharon has really set me up for leading a
better quality of life.
I highly recommend Sharon and Jigsaw Fitness. Just give her a
call and have a chat, she is professional, friendly and very approachable.

I had
been looking for a bootcamp experience for a little while after losing
motivation at gym, but was put off by a local trainer using a park nearby
which seemed very exposed to passing traffic. I loved the relative privacy
of Monty Sth Primary - what a great venue for exercising.
As a
regular gym user I came to bootcamp not so much to lose weight but to
improve fitness and perhaps lose a few more centimetres. After some intial
debate, I decided to commit fully to the program, cutting out the caffeine,
dairy and following the other recommendations. After all, I figured if
you're going to make the effort with the exercise, you may as well commit to
the nutritional side of things otherwise its only a half-hearted effort. I
also followed the exercise regime for the "off days" walking 7km 3 times a
week plus the RB exercises. I was quite surprised with how much fitness I
gained in just 6 weeks, and really my improvements in strength were evident
after just a couple of weeks. It was great to see my times improving with
the runs and exercises becoming just that little bit easier to do. I lost
2kg and 13cm overall and my fitness improved noticeably. Great results for
just 6 weeks of effort.
I
loved the interval training, the way Sharon mixes the program up and
balances the program with sound nutritional advice. The program is a great
challenge not just physically but also mentally to push yourself to a new
level.
I
found the program very informative and have now reassessed my training
methods based on a new level of understanding of nutrition and fitness.
I
would highly recommend this program whether you have a good level of fitness
or just beginning - there's something in it for everyone.

As a qualified personal
trainer coupled with her background as a registered nurse Sharon provides
practical exercise programs and nutritional advice that assists you with
your personal health and fitness goals. Whether you want to lose some
weight or just get into better physical shape, Sharon custom designs an
exercise program that helps you achieve your overall objectives.
In my case, following my
retirement in late 2006, I began walking 5-6 kms a day expecting that I
would start to lose some weight. While my fitness improved somewhat there
was no real change in my weight.
In mid-June 2008 I
started twice weekly one hour one on one personal training sessions with
Sharon. These sessions coupled with some suggested adjustments to my diet
have seen my overall fitness improve dramatically and I have lost 7 kgs to
date.
While I have been
fortunate to enjoy overall good health, I have been taking medication for
high blood pressure for a number of years. Following my weight loss coupled
with my improved fitness my daily medication has been reduced
significantly. I have been told that with further improvements to my weight
and fitness that I may be able to stop taking high blood pressure medication
altogether.
Sharon provides
challenging exercise sessions but does not aggressively push you past your
comfort zone.
